I always had questions about my faith tradition
Why were we allowed to embrace the mystical during the music but nowhere else? Why weren’t there women in leadership? Why did my belief system feel so disconnected from my experience?
After a lifetime in church and five years working for churches, I stepped away to find God. Six years later, my spirituality had reached depths I never knew existed, but I felt homesick. Since then, I’ve begun rebuilding on a foundation that proved true and trustworthy from the other side of doubt and disbelief. The writings you find here expand on the tradition I love with grace for where I came from.
